Week of October 25th, 2015

Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week in Math we will continue to work on Chapter 4, division. In Bears we will continue to work on extended responses in LA and Math. In writing we will work on our Fantasy unit. We will work on different tenses in language. In Reading, we will finish our F and P testing as well as Theme 5. In Health we will finish safety and first aid. In Social Studies we will practice states and capitals and finish up chapter 2. Please continue having your child read 20 minutes a night. Remember, if you have any questions or concerns, please call, e-mail, or send in a note. Have a great week!

*Halloween Party is on Wednesday- students may bring their costumes to school, please be sure they are school appropriate
* Please bring in Halloween donations as soon as possible




Homework
Daily: Read 20 minutes and practice math facts 
Monday: Study for Social Studies Chapter 2 Test and Health First Aid Test
Tuesday: Social Studies Chapter 2 Test 
Wednesday: First Aid Test, Fire Escape plan and Safety Kit due

*Field Trip is tomorrow: Be sure to dress for the weather and bring a sack lunch in a bag you can throw away. Please no peanut butter or peanut items if possible. Thank you! 

Last day to shop the book fair is Monday.

Math homework is page 127 1-10 today, if your child has already finished it, then there is no math homework tonight.

*BOOK FAIR is next week in the library, our day to shop is Monday morning :) Please send money to school with your child if you would like for them to purchase books. 
*HOT LUNCH week is next week!
